shooting in New Zealand next 2 weeks

Tim Cash and FARfromEARTH Films here. A music video production company based in Bend Oregon. We just wrapped our 2 music videos with Magic Heart Genies. and jumping on a jet plane to New Zealand on a whirlwind tour for 12 days to shoot 3 new episodes of Adventure Guides for the Outdoor Channel. I'll be shooting on the sony EX1 and bringing my canon 7d for some more practice. anyway, hope all is well out there and be back soon. Should have 5 new music videos up on our music video page in April.

SOUTH TO ARCATA,CALIFORNIA

Heading south to Arcata, California to shoot 2 more music videos. We'll be starting out with Jah Sun and his latest track "Jamaica" about the tiny little island with the mega-huge vibez. Its the third instalment in te trilogy of videos built for the carribean audience. We'll also be shooting with Ishi Dube for his latest track "Like Rain".

Super excited to break out the Kessler Crane. We're getting used to it and have some new ideas for these next projects. We're trying to step it up with each production so we'll se how it goes.

Along for the shoot also is Chris Kas who has been a huge help (he's my third eye) joining the FARfromEARTH team since "Future Cops" w/ Essential I & Promoe and also "Meditation" w/ Jah Sun and Queen Omega. Chris Kas is filling the shoes of assistant director/art director/prop master/ and overall mega-hitter on the set. He's part of the "stepping it up" process that has been going on at FARfromEARTH. anyway look from some stills by Chris Kas......yet another invaluable role he fills. Ok see on the flipside!!

THE MATT LEWIS BAND

I had the great pleasure of working with a great friends and wonderful musicians yesterday. What started out as just a restful day in the park with great music turned into a music video shot at the Les Schwab Amphitheater for the Matt lewis Band. I just got one take at the band playing the song during soundcheck and was able to splice in some b-roll I managed to get while not working very hard and enjoying the show. Hope everyone enjoys.

Tim Cash journey's to the Wild Rivers of Montana

Tim Cash has signed on to shoot and edit 5 episodes for the Outdoor channel's Adventure Guides . Tim has recently traveled to Chile, Costa Rica,Texas,Maine, & Montana as part of the series production. here are a few screen shots from some interviews on the Blackfoot River with Pro Outfitters.

FARfromEARTH   Hello Everyone, My name is Tim Cash and I run  a film production company based in Bend Oregon. FARfromEARTH FILMS Thanks to all the supporters who helped FARfromEARTH get to where it is today. 2007 was a great year for the company. Starting off the year in production of SKIPPING STONES (a half hour short set in Nepal).  We filmed entirely in and around Central Oregon.  It was a great learning experience. In Oct. of 2007 the film debuted at the Tower Theatre  in Bend Oregon  as an official entry into BENDFILM.  The show sold out and was a dream come true for me personally to see my movie on the big screen.  After the show I got up and spoke in front of 500 people. It was the first time I had spoke in front of a crowd......i think ever. It went well though. AUTO PILOT. In between the festival and the making of the film we created film pieces for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon, Les Schwab Ampthitheatre, Peapod Glass, Mateagos, Absolute Hardwood Floors, Wise Photography,  Mark Swisher Homes, 3E Strategies, Steves Drum Studio, Music at the Mountain, NW World Reggae Fest and a few more.  Also during that time we shot quite a few weddings in the Central Oregon Region. One of the best parts of the year was getting to delve into the music industry . Specifically reggae.  Tim Cash directed music videos for Jah Sun, Ras Attitude & Jahson Ites.
